H.E Ambassador Johnson Agara OLWA allures coffee and cacao buyers from the Russian Federation to Uganda .

The delegation from Product Group  JSC, a Russian company dealing in coffee and cacao arrived in Uganda on the 9th November 2021 to meet stakeholders in the coffee and cacao sector. The company is interested in buying coffee and cacao directly from Uganda.

His Excellency Johnson Agara Olwa held talks with the Deputy Rector and staff of Smolensk State Medical University on the 19 August .

The meeting was purposed to strengthen cooperation between Uganda and Russia in the Education sector . The Medical University is one of the best in the Russian Federation and is ready to cooperate with Uganda  by signing a memorandum of Understating with one of the universities in Uganda . This will facilitate joint projects in research , student and lecture exchanges among others.

Don State Technical University ( DSTU) ready to cooperate with Uganda

The Rector of Don State Technical University ( DSTU) receives H.E Johnson Agara OLWA, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda in the Russian Federation . The picture was taken in-front of the main building of the University in Rostov on Don. The clock in the Background was made by the students of the University as one of their innovative projects. 

H.E Ambassador Johnson Agara Olwa, Ambassador of Uganda in the Russian Federation lures EcoNivaAgro to invest in Uganda .

The Ambassador visited the farm while he was in Voronezh Region in Russia for official visit. EkoNivaAgro was established in March 2002. The main area of activity is dairy farming; however, the enterprise is also engaged in growing cereal, pulse, fodder, profitable industrial crops as well as seed production.
EkoNivaAgro operates on the territory of Liski, Kamenka, Bobrov, Kashira, Anna, Buturlinovka and Talovo districts of Voronezh oblast. The total agricultural land area is 147,000 ha.

RUSSIA - UGANDA BUSINESS FORUM

The Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Moscow celebrated the 59th Independence Day on Monday, 11th October 2021.

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among was the Chief Guest at the event. She was joined by six other visiting Members of Parliament and officials of the Parliament of Uganda. Following the celebrations, the visiting delegation attended the Third Eurasian Women's Forum in St Petersburg which took place from 13th to 15th October, 2021.

Voronezh State Agricultural University ready to escalate relations with Uganda

 H.E Johnson Agara Olwa , the Ambassador of Uganda in the Russian Federation visited Voronezh State Agricultural University to discuss and initiation cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries  of Uganda.
The University  is already collaborating  with Mountain of the Moon University in Uganda and is open to strengthen relations .
