The Rector of The Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University agrees to a cooperation with Uganda

Ambassador Moses Kizige visited the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University and called for cooperation with Uganda. Ms Alfinur Galiakberova, the Rector accepted the invitation and expressed her readiness on behalf of the university to enter a cooperation with Uganda.

They discussed issues of mutual interest including the establishment of education, trade ,tourism and investment cooperation between Uganda and Perm Region. "Perm and Uganda have a big potential to enhance economic cooperation" said the Governor Makhonin. 20% of the world's fertilizers are produced in Perm. Technologies developed in Perm have potential to be used in Uganda.

The delegation from Product Group  JSC, a Russian company dealing in coffee and cacao arrived in Uganda on the 9th November 2021 to meet stakeholders in the coffee and cacao sector. The company is interested in buying coffee and cacao directly from Uganda.
 
On 10th November 2021, they met officials from the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They are set to hold talks with officials from Uganda Coffee Development Authority on 11th  November 2021.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in the Russian Federation calls upon Ugandan nationals in Ukraine to stay calm, be cautious, monitor local news for updates, observe the instructions as issued by the government of Ukraine during this ongoing situation.
 
The Ugandan community is urged to notify the Embassy immediately about their safety, whereabouts and the situation as it prevails.
